BORN Integrated Construction is proud to be part of the construction of the new Kimpton Hotel development in Fredericksburg, TX. This approximately 220-room hospitality project features abuilding footprint of approximately 120,000 square feet and showcases a modern hybrid structural approach that combines the efficiency of the thinshell forming system with conventional post-tension concrete deck construction.The project was designed to maximize construction efficiency, structural performance, and schedule coordination while meeting the demands of a large-scale hospitality development in the Texas Hill Country. By integrating thinshell technology in combination with traditional post-tension deck systems, the structure benefits from accelerated cycle times,reduced forming material requirements, and improved adaptability throughout multiple phases of construction. BORN’s scope includes structural concrete operations from the ground up, utilizing both advanced forming systems and conventional concrete construction methods to deliver a durableand high-quality structure. The hybrid approach allows the project team to strategically apply each system where it provides the greatest value in terms of constructability, labor efficiency,and overall project performance. Located in the growing hospitality market of Fredericksburg, the Kimpton Hotel project represents another milestone in BORN’s commitment to innovative concrete construction solutions throughout Texas. Through careful coordination, safety-focused operations, and experienced field execution, BORN continues to deliver complex structural projects with precision and reliability.

BORN Integrated Construction is proud to be part of the construction of the new Riverview Development in Houston, TX. This 7 story, 217-unit apartment project features a building footprint of 318,407 square feet with a 116,006 square ft 7 story garage to accommodate resident parking for all areas of the building. This multifamily construction project showcases a modern hybrid structural approach that combines the efficiency of the thinshell forming system with conventional post-tension concrete deck construction. 

The project was designed to maximize construction efficiency, structural performance, and schedule coordination while meeting the demands of a large-scale multifamily development in the Memorial area of Houston, Texas. By integrating thinshell technology in combination with traditional post-tension deck systems, the structure benefits from accelerated cycle times, reduced forming material requirements, and improved adaptability throughout multiple phases of construction.

BORN’s scope includes earthwork utilizing state of the art GPS dozers in conjunction with structural concrete from the ground up. Born integrated both advanced forming methods leveraging the thinwall system and conventional concrete construction to deliver a durable and high-quality structure. The hybrid approach allows the project team to strategically apply each system where it provides the greatest value in terms of constructability, labor efficiency, and overall project performance.
